Are you planning on attending the NGS OPUS Projects training (Held by Bill Stone NGS Regional Advisor) for the 2016 NMPS Survey Conference? If so…..
Register for the NGS OPUS Projects workshop through the NGS training website: http://www.ngs.noaa.gov/corbin/calendar.shtml
It is imperative that we have registrants’ info ahead of time (at least a few days ahead). There can be NO registers at the door.
And, a reminder of a few things —
– everyone will need to bring their laptops
– everyone will be able to use the hotel’s WiFi signal; we’ll all be online at the same time
– the training room will provide a way for everyone to be able to plug their laptops into power (power strips, extension chords?)
– The class will be capped at 25 people
Dear NMPS Members:
The American Association for Geodetic Surveying (AAGS) is in the early stages of pursuing development of a Geodetic Certification Program at the request of NSPS and ASPRS. As part of that process, AAGS created an online survey. The purpose is to raise awareness of the proposed program and identify the required depth of geodetic knowledge. More information can be found on the survey web page at geodetic.xyz/survey/index.php/378997. Feel free to share the survey link with any other geospatial professional organizations or individuals. The program is being developed in cooperation with other organizations, so you may receive (or have received) additional announcements. Please forgive any multiple postings. Thank you in advance for your willingness to participate in this important survey!
