Experienced Registered Professional Land Surveyor

You are an experienced RPLS who takes pride in attention to detail, clean professional work from start to finish and are proud to put your seal on your finished plat. You love the outdoors and would really thrive by being able to concentrate on your work and not have to worry about the running of the business. You would enjoy performing both title and industrial survey work, as it allows you a change and keeps your skills sharp. You like being your own boss and setting the organizational tone and tenor towards operating efficiently, having fun and seeing your authorship on the resulting success. When not working, you would enjoy smaller city life with the choice of recreation in the wooded National Forests, playing golf in the mountains or desert floor, skiing in the winter, all with the convenience of larger cities nearby.

Our company is a smaller Family Office with investments in a relatively broad spectrum of operating companies and real estate investments. Our firm has purchased the name, assets, and former location of a dormant survey company. All of the records for the vast majority of any survey or elevation certificate for our surrounding area along with the office and survey equipment came with the purchase; including inheriting the good name and reputation of a pair of respected surveyors. We are successful business owners/operators in Southern New Mexico and have recently evolved into real estate investments and property management. Our recent acquisition of the survey company is of high importance to us and a top priority. All the systems are in place for our new venture; including HR, accounting, billing, and front office staff, except we are missing – YOU!

We are looking for a seasoned professional (minimum 3 years experience) who is looking for a new opportunity in an area that would appreciate their services. As a group of dynamic, highly communicative and progressive entrepreneurs we understand investment and have the ability to offer a very dynamic work place with good pay, benefits and creative employment perks (like housing and allowances).

Our company offers a life style/family friendly location in south central New Mexico, professional team-structured organization, people focused, non-political/non-union environment, innovation and a forum for the right person’s professional vision to become reality.

Skills and Education

• Active RPLS designation with at least 3 years’ experience in the field
• Demonstrable and applicable mastery of current and future survey methods
• Current stamp in their current state with willingness to obtain designation in New
Mexico
• Willingness to explore cell tower/solar field/industrial survey work
